Leather Placemat "Rectangular"

Premium Leather Table Mats – Rectangular | Handmade in Austria
Our premium leather table mats are something truly special. Made from genuine Italian top-grain leather, they stand out thanks to their plastic-free surface and beautiful natural grain. The leather is treated with wax, making it water-repellent and easy to care for.
The "Rectangular" version is the timeless, all-purpose shape of a table mat – classic, practical, and versatile. A rectangular mat fits effortlessly into any setting.
We use unique, untreated full-grain leather, which naturally absorbs oils and fats through its waxed surface.
Grease marks fade over time, and everyday spills or food residues can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth.
Unlike plastic-coated leather, our table mats develop a rich patina and age naturally – much like a hundred-year-old leather armchair. Because we use no plastic, natural features such as scars or slight colour variations remain visible, giving each piece its own character.
Handcrafted in Austria from premium Italian leather.

Water-Repellent
Leather has long been a symbol of durability—and for good reason.
We tan, wax, and oil our leather using our own custom formula to create a water-repellent surface that can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Because there’s no synthetic coating, oils and marks may absorb—but they usually fade with time and become part of the leather’s natural patina.
Natural
What sets this leather apart is its plastic-free surface.
Unlike most modern leather, ours is simply oiled and waxed—no synthetic coatings that can crack or peel over time. Just pure, natural material designed to last.
Our leather is sourced exclusively from Italy and tanned under strict environmental standards.
Durable
Plastic-free leather doesn’t break down.
Like a vintage leather armchair, it serves you well for a lifetime when properly cared for—developing a rich patina and ageing naturally.
Light scratches can easily be treated with leather balm, restoring the surface to a like-new appearance.
Handcrafted in Austria
Our products are made by hand in the heart of Europe.
We focus on short supply chains and oversee every step of production ourselves—ensuring consistently high quality in every piece. Our guiding principle: exceptional quality, paired with outstanding service.

Story
These are beautiful, supple, and soft. Shipping was very quick. Thank you!
Not oval as pictured. Should have been told they are a random shape.
Absolutely gorgeous placemats! HIGH quality. Larger size allows for plate charger too with room! They are PERFECT - could not be happier! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE!!
The placemats are absolutely beautiful
Love them perfect for what I was looking for with our earthy live edge table.
Beautiful placemats! Just what we were looking for to complete our dining room!
Feels like premium quality leather. I really liked the natural look of the leather, especially because it had some scars and markings that brought out the individual character of the table mat. If you like a more rustic appearance, these table set might be for you.

Great service and quality, but sadly the colour wasn’t quite what I’d hoped for
